This interactive workshop explores the cultural history of agriculture education through a "where we've been, where we are, and where we're going" framework while highlighting Native American, African American, and Latino agricultural histories, contributions, and cultural practices. Whether you teach in a monocultural community, a highly multicultural one, or somewhere in between, this workshop offers practical strategies that can be adapted to your local context. Through a "touch, see, do" format, participants will engage with cultural materials, explore classroom-ready lesson ideas, and experience hands-on activities. Attendees will leave with resources, activity examples, and strategies for creating more inclusive and engaging agriculture learning environments.
