About me
Hi! I’m Vanessa Kirby, Director of Support for AET (Agricultural Experience Tracker), professional problem-solver, teacher cheerleader, and firm believer that record-keeping doesn’t have to be stressful! A big part of my job is working alongside agricultural educators to help make AET work for them—not the other way around. Whether I’m answering support questions, leading a workshop, developing resources, or helping a teacher figure out that one AET feature they swear has been hiding from them, I love finding practical ways to make their lives a little easier. My favorite part of what I do is connecting with teachers. I understand that ag teachers wear about 47 different hats on any given day, so my goal is to provide training that is useful, realistic, and something you can actually take back and use tomorrow. When I’m presenting, expect real examples, practical tips, a few laughs, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. There’s a good chance we’ll even find an AET shortcut you didn’t know existed! At the end of the day, I’m passionate about supporting the people who make agricultural education happen every day—and helping them spend a little less time stressing over records and a little more time investing in their students. My AET philosophy: Track more. Stress less. Make it meaningful.
