About me
Howdy, I am an Agriculture Teacher/FFA Advisor from Shiprock High School; Shiprock, NM serving students on the Navajo Nation. I've been teaching agriculture since 2000 and have been passionate about helping students discover their potential through agriculture, FFA, SAE, and hands -on learning. I am also honored to be a 2nd year National FFA Teacher Ambassador.Outside of the classroom, I'm a proud single mom to an outstanding 15 year old son who keeps me busy, humble, and inspired. He is also involved in agriculture and FFA; showing lambs & goats; so agriculture truly is a family affair for us. You could talk to me about agriculture education, integrating culture into the classroom, building strong FFA programs, student leardership, rural and native agriculture, creating meaningful opportunities for students. I love connecting with other educators, sharing ideas, and learning from the amazing people who make agricultural education so impactful.
